How we rank
Every week, the new AI and agent tools worth your time, ranked by what each one is actually good for.
Method
We sort tools by the job you'd hire them for, then rank them within each group by usefulness, value for money and how ready they are to use today. Unless we say we tested a tool hands-on, verdicts come from its docs, launch materials and public pricing.
- By use case. Each page answers one job-to-be-done and ranks 3–5 tools for it. A tool can rank differently on different pages.
- New and established, side by side. Tools marked New · Issue #N were featured in the AiToday newsletter. Tools marked Established pick are widely used alternatives we added so each page gives a complete answer.
- Prices. Taken from each tool's public pricing page or official docs on the date shown. When we couldn't confirm a price, we write "See site."
Independence policy
No pay-to-rank, ever. Nobody can buy a spot or a better rank. If we run sponsors, they will be clearly labeled and kept separate from the rankings.
Affiliate disclosure
Some links in AiToday are affiliate links, clearly marked (aff). If you buy, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you, but it never affects which tools we cover or how we rank them.
Several tools we rank highly have no affiliate program at all, and that doesn't change their rank.
